Welcome to our dance school, California DanceArts, home to the resident company, California Contemporary Ballet.
Our Mission:
We seek to make a profound contribution in the lives of our students by providing progressive and high quality dance education, utilized to develop, nurture, encourage, challenge and motivate our students in the pursuit of their artistic goals, aspirations and dreams.
At CDA, we offer ballet training programs for young dancers up through professional levels. In addition, we have classes in Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Pas de Duex (partnering), Aerial Ballet, AcroDance and Adult Classes.
Proudly serving the greater Los Angeles area, particularly La Canada Flintridge, Pasadena, Altadena, Glendale, La Crescenta-Montrose, Sunland and Tujunga for nearly 30 years, where we strive to bring quality arts education to our local communities.

Dancers need to dance, which is why we offer several options to facilitate students continuing their dance training while also staying safe and healthy!
Whether you are looking for in-person instruction, private lesson, or open-air class - we have an option for you!

OUR COMPANY
California Contemporary Ballet (CCB), is the resident company at California DanceArts.
CCBallet is one of Southern California’s burgeoning dance companies featuring a unique choreographic blend of classical, contemporary and theatrical dance works. The professional company consists of athletic ballet & contemporary dancers, modern dancers, gymnasts and aerialists who deliver powerful, emotional performances.
California Contemporary Ballet seeks to increase dance awareness and endow our artists with opportunities to engage our audiences in the creativity, imagination and joy of dance.
In an effort to encourage young dancers as they pursue a career in dance, CCBallet continues to establish a youth division within its organization. Combined with the performance opportunities, rehearsals and experience that is provided by CCYBallet, it closely replicates a professional dance company experience.
